Photographs, correspondence, clippings, ephemera, and other materials reflecting Thomas J. Crawford's career at South Carolina State University (formerly the Colored Normal, Industrial, Agricultural and Mechanical College of South Carolina and South Carolina State College) and campus life during his long association with the school, including organizations such as the Pan-Hellenic Council. The collection contains over 5000 photographs, negatives, and slides depicting various aspects of the university and change over time. Also contains obituaries of local individuals and correspondence relating to the Orangeburg Massacre (1968).
